Poon Hill Trek is one of the most famous treks in the Annapurna region, as it is accessible to many people due to its moderate ascent. The trek offers a fantastic Nepalese landscape experience and leads up to a maximum altitude of 3,210m at Poon Hill. The main attraction of the trek is the Poon Hill viewpoint, which offers a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding mountain ranges and their peaks - Annapurna I (8,091m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Fish Tail Mountain (6,993m). Watching the sunrise over this mountain panorama is an unforgettable experience. The trek leads mainly through ancient and partly very moss-covered rhododendron forests. In spring, between March and April, the blossoming rhododendron's are very impressive.
